I would really like to see carhartt bring back their camo uninsulated bibs with the elastic shell holders in the front. I have got many years use out of mine but they are torn to shreads on account of the bryers we have where I hunt. It was the worst thing you could have done to me to discontinue this item. Scott Base: Antarctica
Scott Base was constructed for New Zealand's participation in the International Geophysical Year and Commonwealth Transantarctic Expedition and was officially opened on January 20 1957. Designed only for a short life the base began a rebuilding programme in 1976.
Scott base is a New Zealand run Antarctic base situated about 2 miles from McMurdo. It is much smaller than McMurdo (all other Antarctic bases are much smaller than McMurdo!) Scott Base accommodates up to 58 people over the summer and a skeleton staff of 10-14 over the winter.

hi Im an ironworker local 46 nyc.I started working iron in 1975 after serving in the army,101st airborne 326 med batt.My father Joseph b. Carhart same local46 got me into our union and got me my first Carhartt overalls and jacket, although ive since outgrown that first set i still have them and still wear Carhartts even after retireing in SEPT. the young kidds starting out always asked me if Carhartt was my familys bussiness,I always told them sure is ,and that IM the family field tester lol. true story, thanks for all the years of comfort and saftey i always had and will continue to have from your rugged line of work gear. Ten years ago about I bought my companys uniform carpenter shorts old style angle leg pocket ones. not important but color is , from Carhartt . I bought a car load for eveybody .
