Where's the pink?

My husband is a roofing contractor. Every year for Christmas he has Carhartt jackets made up with his business logo for each of his employees. At the same time, he has some made for himself and our children. My question is WHERE IS THE PINK?? We have 4 children, 2 girls, and they would really enjoy a more "girlie" colored Carhartt jacket, think you could work on that? We would appreciate that! Thank you

I agree!! I have 3 boys and 1 girl, everyone including ME has a carhartt, except her, and thats all she asked for for Christmas!! she loves pink, its her way of still being a girl when she is fitting in with the boys- I sure wish I could grant her wish!!

Response for casey: We currently offer one women's coat (style WC061 Sandstone Ridge Coat) and two women's jackets (WJ141 Sandstone Sierra Jacket and WJ097 Sandstone Detroit Jacket) in color Vintage Rose, which is a shade of pink. We are currently revamping our Kids' Line, which will contain many more products geared towards girls. This new line will be available in January 2010. However, January is when we launch our Spring/Summer products; therefore, a sweatshirt will be the heaviest top available in pink. Please check back with Carhartt in May or June, as that is when our Fall/Winter products are released.

Carhartt is in the process of revamping the Kids' line. We are very happy to inform you that we will be offering many more products geared towards girls beginning in February 2010. Unfortunately, this will be our Spring Line and will not contain a jacket. However, we will launch some of our Fall Kids' Line products in August and the rest in September, which will contain a girl's jacket in Toddler and Girl sizes. We hope you will check back with us then.

I agree! I think that pink Carhartt jackets would definitely be a hot seller. You guys have the potential to make tons of more money here! Hot pink would be the coolest! Girls also love turquoise. I know the jackets are earth-tones because they are widely used by hunters everywhere, but what about children/wives who want to stand out to ensure their safety while hunting, riding 4-wheelers, etc.? I strongly urge Carhartt to consider designing jackets in varying shades, other than earth tones. I guarantee I will be one of the first to buy one! Thank you!

yeah pink would be soooooo awsome......at a rodeo its nice to have a jacket they see from the stands, lime green, hot pink, turquoise, orange and funky colors. i know i would be one of the first to buy!!!

I think pink would be awesome!!! Not only in the kids sizes but also in the adults. Like a baby pink and maybe even have a couple other actual colors like light blue and orange and green. I think this would bring in alot more money and add many more customers!!

Unfortunately, there are no plans to launch a coverall for women or to add a shade of pink to our current women's bib overall in 2010. Nonetheless, we have forwarded your suggestion to our Product Design Department for further consideration.

I have a two year old daughter who loves pink. It's getting to be the mud season, what better to wear outside than a carhartt jacket. Dad has brown she needs a pink carhartt.
