My name is Garrett Ford and I'm from Durango, Colorado.
The toughest horse race in the world (The Tevis Cup) runs over 100 miles of back country trail from Lake Tahoe, California to Auburn, California. The trail is tough, rocky, dusty and dirty. Horses need the ultimate in hoof protection to complete the trek and the process of applying these Easyboots for the 100 mile journey is messy and abrasive on clothing.
Before the 2009 Tevis Cup event we applied over 90 Easyboot glue-on hoof boots. The process is quick but the adhesives are messy. Each time I start the glue-on process I reach for my Carhartt pants. The pants keep me clean and protect me from the hoof knives and rasp. Because of my signature Carhartt/glue pants I've noticed others turning to Carhartt.
Awesome product. Keep up the good work.
