My Tough Job: Vice Squad Police Officer

Friday, April 17, 2009 by Tough Jobs

My name is Chad Zubal and I'm from Youngstown, Ohio.

I am a member of the Youngstown Police Department's Vice Squad. I have been wearing Carhartt at work for years due to my plain clothes assignment. Over the years I have discovered that Carhartt is the only brand that survives the daily wear and tear. On July 1st, 2005 I survived a shootout with 4 heavily armed gang members in a stolen car. That day my favorite Carhartt jeans became my lucky Carhartt jeans. My current favorite has to be my moss green Carhartt winter coat with hood. Of course I have the matching green Carhartt stocking cap. Youngstown winters can get pretty cold. I got the coat big, so it can fit over my tactical vest and gunbelt for concealment.People (cops and suspects alike) often say i look like a Carhartt billboard. Thank you Carhartt for making an excellent product.
